Annotation

There are several goals of revitalization of the whole area. The first is to incorporate this slowly opening up complex into the structure of the city and public life, so that it is perceived as a place of opportunity and not as an impenetrable barrier. A separate part of the proposal, which addresses how to enable the immediate use of the area, also addresses this goal. Another goal is to create a new urban structure, including primarily a housing function, but also to expand the existing film and creative industry and create conditions for the penetration of the so-called art district. All this with maximum continuity and interconnection with the existing buildings and, last but not least, the effort to integrate the set of Astra park apartment buildings in the north of the complex into the continuous structure of the city with these steps.
